Where are you right now (LVR, DR, Bathroom) and what are you wearing? You have to tell the truth. LOL. I’m in the office wearing sweats.
If you could work with any author who would you choose? Oh wow. There are so many that would be great to work with, but if I had to choose, it would be a toss-up between Francine Rivers and Kim Sawyer.
When writing, what is the part of the story you enjoy writing the most? I LOVE writing action scenes. If I can make a reader say ‘whew’ when they finish, I’ve been successful.
What is the hardest part in writing a story? Description drives me crazy. I don’t enjoy reading a lot of it, so naturally, I don’t enjoy writing it. I usually save it for when I edit and add it in later. Though there are times I manage to stick it in when writing the actual scene.
What is a typical working day for you? Where and when do you write? Do you set goals? I don’t have a typical working day. I’m a stay at home mom and I want to be available to husband and kids whenever necessary. I fit my writing in when I can. But afternoons seem to work out best. I can usually get 2 to 3 uninterrupted hours.
If you were writing a book about your life what would the title be? Oh man, this is a great question. I would have to title it the same as this book. Harvest House did such a great job renaming my stories. I think all my dreams have come true…at least those up to this point.
What is your favorite material item that you own (examples: ipod, Gone with the Wind book, grandmother’s rocking chair) Hmmm. Material item. Wow, I had to think a while on this one. I guess it would have to be my laptop. It’s helpful in so many different ways…research, keeping up with others, writing, etc.
What is something that very few people know about you? Well, since I mentioned skydiving before, I guess I can’t use that one. Let’s see…I killed a large snake in my garage with a butcher knife once. It was a desperate times=desperate measures kind of thing. I really dislike snakes.
Ranch owner Jace Kincaid figures the Lord is testing his faith when a female wrangler shows up looking for work. Bobbie has an uncanny way of getting under his skin, though, and he's surprised when she finds a home next to his heart. But when his cattle begin to go missing and his wranglers are in danger from some low-down cattle thief, will Jace trust God, even if it means giving up his dreams?
An adventurous tale of faith, hope, and love in the wild west.
